It is set on a working farm, approximately half a mile from the pretty conservation village of Gifford in East Lothian, where there are amenities including hotels, pubs, restaurants, a newsagent and a grocery store.
Wheatfield Cottage has been lovingly renovated and provides wonderful self-catering accommodation in the pretty East Lothian village of Gifford. It enjoys a tranquil rural location at the foot of the Lammermuir Hills, but is still within easy reach of Edinburgh city centre. It is set on a working arable farm and is surrounding by farmland, making it a lovely and quiet place to relax. There are two generously proportioned bedrooms and two bathrooms (one en-suite to the main bedroom).

West Shaird enjoys a beautifully unspoiled location on the west of South Ronaldsay, which is connected to Orkney’s mainland by the man-made Churchill Barriers. It is set in peaceful and tranquil farmland overlooking Sandwick Bay. The accommodation comprises three bedrooms - a double, a twin and a room with bunk beds which is ideal for children. The cosy sitting room has a coal fire while the living room has a multi-fuel stove so the house is warm all through the day and night.
