Although Colgrain may look like a traditional Highland croft, it was in fact cleverly constructed recently to provide a modern and stylish home in keeping with the character of the surrounding area. It offers spacious and comfortable self-catering accommodation in stunning surroundings. We have tried to make sure we’ve thought of everything, from the kitchen equipment complete with all mod-cons, to the cosy, comfortable lounge which has amazing views over Loch Greshornish.

We are situated in the small, unspoilt and beautiful village of Elgol, a fishing village on Skye's West coast, overlooking the Cuillin Mountains. With careful restoration we have maintained the 19th Century feel, and offer you a relaxed, informal atmosphere, with character log fire in both our Dining room and lounge.
We are right on the waters edge, facing west over Uig Bay as well as Loch Snizort, where you will enjoy the soothing atmosphere and romanticism this special island offers. Our accommodation consists of three all en-suite bedrooms, with the ground floor bedroom being equipped with a bath. All rooms have beverage making facilities and a TV.
