EDINBURGH SELF-CATERING We have a wide variety of self-catering accommodation and apartments in various parts of Edinburgh city centre, most of which are either newly built, Victorian or Georgian in style, with lovely spacious rooms. All accommodation is at the top end of the market in terms of standards, safety and quality and they are very comfortable, stylish and elegant, providing a relaxing and homely environment. Self-catering accommodation is the cheapest alternative when compared with Guest Houses, Bed and Breakfasts (B&B) and Hotels but most are usually let with a three-night or one week minimum and breakfast is not included. The main advantage of this type of accommodation, compared to Guest Houses and Bed and Breakfasts, is that you can prepare your own meals, but are also in a city centre location close to many other amenities, such as restaurants and takeaways, perfect for those who do not wish to cook.
Edinburgh Self-Catering Apartments Most of these short-term lets have one, two or three bedrooms with many other facilities. All are furnished with excellent furniture and decor throughout. All apartments include luxury bathrooms, well-equipped kitchens and spacious lounges. The lounges have luxurious, comfortable couches and dining chairs, and most of them have cable TV, DVD players and stereo systems. The kitchens are generally modern with high quality equipment such as a cooker/hob, washer/dryer, microwave and refrigerator.
Accommodation Size Most of the one bedroom accommodation sleeps up to three people; the main bedroom will have either a double bed or two single beds, and most of them have a roll-away sofa bed in the lounge to accommodate the third person. The two bedroom self-catering apartments accommodate up to five people, in two double bedrooms with a further roll-away sofa bed in the lounge. The three bedroom apartments can sleep up to seven people.
You can request which type of accommodation is required by specifying this on our booking/enquiry form, along with the date of arrival, expected time, the number of rooms needed, the number of people staying, and any other useful information that will help us to select and reserve the most appropriate accommodation for your needs.
Accommodation Facilities Most apartments have the following facilities: bed linen, towels, washer/dryer, iron/ironing board, hairdryer and full central heating. Most of the modern apartments have an elevator to all floors. A cot and a high chair may be available upon request. The roll-away sofa bed may not be available in some apartments – please clarify if you need one of these at the time of booking.
Check-In Time Check-in: the check in time is usually around 2pm to 3pm, but this will be confirmed at the time of booking. Check-out usually depends on each apartment but is generally between 10am and 12noon. You may need to collect the key for your accommodation from the owner of the property or from a special agency in the centre of Edinburgh.
Accommodation Location The apartments are mostly found in, or close to, Edinburgh city centre. Most of these apartments are near to good restaurants, pubs, clubs, cinemas, theatres, art galleries, and are also near large shopping centres, leisure parks, conference centres, hotels, the Royal Mile, Princes Street, Edinburgh Castle, Holyrood Palace, the Scottish Parliament, Dynamic Earth, the Scotch Whisky Centre, the observatory, Botanic Garden, the Royal Yacht Britannia in Leith and many other famous attractions.

Our accommodation is close to Fettes College, St George’s School and Erskine Stewart’s Melville schools. There is off street parking, and the bus service on the doorstep will take you to all other parts of Edinburgh.
