Edinburgh is Scotland’s capital city and is arguably the most beautiful place in Scotland(edinburgh accommodation). Edinburgh is built on high land, mostly hills and volcanic rocks, although there is a vast side of Edinburgh which is exposed to the sea, where you will find the districts of Portobello, Leith, Cramond and Queensferry (Accommodation Edinburgh). The original city of Edinburgh was built on steep hills and Edinburgh Castle rests on a massive spectacular rock, which sometimes looks like a huge monster (lovely Edinburgh Accommodation in this area). Edinburgh Castle sits at the top end of the rock and the Royal Mile streams down the length of the hill to the very bottom, where you will find the historic royal palace (Holyrood), Also around here many Edinburgh Accommodation. The Royal Mile dates from ancient times and is probably the most famous street in Edinburgh. It has lots of lanes and alleys (or ‘closes’), which are mostly comprised of lovely traditional town houses and tenement buildings (lots of Edinburgh self catering and Edinburgh Accommodation), giving this street its rich historical character. Edinburgh could not be the world’s most famous city without these hills and buildings, some of the most extraordinary being Edinburgh Castle, the palace, the original parliament at Calton Hill and the Scott Monument on Princes Street, there are lots of quality accommodation Edinburg, Hotel edinburgh and B&B.

The city of Edinburgh is splendid and gorgeous, with its spectacular position in the centre of Scotland. It has a wonderful combination of features: a mass of coastline, Edinburgh Castle and Holyrood Palace (remember to stay in our edinburgh accommodation around the edinburgh Holyrood palace), the unique and imposing historical architecture of the Old and New Towns, the delightful beauty of Arthur’s Seat (where you will find ponds and wildlife in the middle of the city), and the great peaks of the Pentland Hills (which acted as a large line of defence over the centuries). From Edinburgh, you can see over the Firth of Forth to Fife and Stirlingshire, Edinburgh accommodation spread around these area. Edinburgh and the vicinity has a rich history of battles, heroes and kings, but is also renowned for its farming, sea travel, import and export businesses, great fishing, and whisky distilleries.

Edinburgh’s beauty defies nature; its rocky foundations are the most unlikely basis for a town of unimaginable Edwardian (there quality accommodation edinburg), Georgian and Victorian splendour. The architecture of these periods of history will forever be in vogue, and the buildings increase in value year after year. The city is Scotland’s goldmine, making its people proud to call themselves Scots. Edinburgh’s heritage is rich and varied, and cannot be ignored. The endeavours of the kind people of Edinburgh have been written in the annals of history, and will be remembered forever, serving to educate future generations all over the world. Edinburgh is the result of Scottish determination, passion and will to survive, there a lovely kind people who will look after lot of Edinburgh accommodation).

Scottish people are fiercely proud of their capital city and it really does have everything: landmarks, historical treasures, friendly people, elegant buildings, spectacular royal residences, galleries, museums, architecture, pubs, clubs, interesting shops, and narrow cobbled streets. The city of Edinburgh welcomes visitors from all over the world and is well served by a great range of Edinburgh accommodation, from Edinburgh B&B, Edinburgh guest houses, self-catering edinburgh , budget and luxury Edinburgh hotels.
