Bed and Breakfast is usually defined by Visit Scotland as a private accommodation offering less than four rooms to Guests. Usually can be viewed as a 'Smaller' Guesthouse and does not have as stringent licencing regulations. However in most respects these are almost identical to Guest Houses.
Nestling in the north-east corner of mainland Shetland, Lunna House is a welcoming family home. We can offer guests a choice of rooms: the ‘Larsen’ room is a double bedroom with king size four poster bed and an adjoining bedroom with twin bunk beds, perfect for families. The ‘Puffin’ is another double room, while the ‘Otter’ is a twin room. All have private bathrooms, central heating and tea/coffee making facilities.
This traditional Georgian farmhouse has lovely traditional features and a panoramic view of the large colourful garden and the Stobo Valley. We have over 1300 acres of land, from the Lyne River to the top of the Moldon Hills, which are 1350 feet above sea level and accessible for hill walking from the farm. Also there are picnic areas next to the Meldon Burn. We serve freshly cooked full Scottish breakfasts in our lovely dining room and we can prepare three course meals on request.
