The apartment can be found on the fourth floor of the building and sleeps up to four guests in one bedroom and a sitting room (with a sofa bed). There is a well equipped kitchen with a host of modern appliances and a lovely bathroom with a bath and a shower. The rental tariff includes gas, electricity, linen, towels and taxes. We are sorry but this is a non-smoking apartment.
The nearby Royal Mile is a thriving hub of activity. Here you will find interesting shops, traditional pubs, galleries and cafés as well as some of Edinburgh’s most visited attractions, such as the Camera Obscura, the castle and the Palace. There are plenty of museums nearby too, such as the Museum of Childhood, which is free of charge and is well worth a visit. Princes Street and the New Town are within walking distance, making this the ideal base for your next holiday in Edinburgh.

We loved our flat at 7 St Marys St in Edinburgh! I will definitely stay there the next time I visit Edinburgh. Not only was the location perfect ( right on the corner of St Marys and The Royal Mile and a short distance from the train station ), but the flat itself was immaculate, comfortable, and a good size. We made use of the flat\'s extensive library on Edinburgh and Scotland. The owner was really nice - she kept us informed of things, she mailed us keys, and in addition to a well-appointed kitchen, she left an unopened container of milk in the fridge for us! Just a note - the walk from the train station was a piece of cake with our rolling luggage. Just look for The Waverly Pub on the corner - the door to the flat is right next to it. If we had been loaded with bags it would have been very easy to pick up a taxi to take us the couple of blocks, since the way to the flat goes right past the station\'s taxi stand.

We loved the apartment. All of it. As a general recommendation, though, I am convinced that leaving the flat at 9 in the morning is inadequate. Entreance time should be 12 noon and leaving time at 11 am.
