The Canongate - Self Catering
There is a balcony window opening out over the Royal Mile where you can watch all the passers by. The lounge has a flat screen TV, DVD player and stereo, with comfortable furniture and a dining table seating six. The flat benefits from central heating throughout.
The Canongate is situated at the bottom end of the Royal Mile which runs from Edinburgh Castle at the top to the Palace of Holyrood House at the bottom. It is a wonderfully central location, only 250 yards from Waverley train station and 500 yards from Princes Street and George Street where you can find a wide selection of shops, ranging from well-known high street brands to unique boutiques. There are also many food shops, delicatessens, pubs and cafés on the doorstep.

Our stay in Edinburgh was unforgettable, it is a beautiful city. The location of the apartment was absolutely central and very accessible to get around. The apartment itself was very accomodating,it was clean and modern and very pleasing to have stayed there. The gentleman that met us there was very helpful and showed us the apartment. My only complaint was the stairwell which was very dirty, a bag full of trash was left on the steps for the three days that we were there, a removed door was standing up against the wall, and there were papers all over the floor at the door entrance downstairs. When we arrived and opened the door our first impression was very bad but as I did already say the apartment itself was very good. If we knew that the stairwell were to get cleaned up, we would absolutely stay there again without a doubt. Thank you for taking the time to inquire about our stay. Vicky Kilzi
