The attractive villages of Gardenstown and Crovie are a two mile drive, and also Pennan, the setting for the 'Local Hero' movie, is just five miles away. There are boat trips available through Puffin Cruises or North 58 Sea Adventure, where you may see dolphins and seals.

Drive to Fraserburgh on the A952, and then take the A98 to Banff. Head to Crudie and look for the Palace Bed and Breakfast sign which is two miles ahead. Alternatively, you could drive through Macduff on the A96 then take the costal route (B9031) to Gardenstown crossroads, just over a mile from our house.
