I found Ashtree House by searching the internet and thought it looked like a nice cozy place to stay, especially during a Scottish winter. I was delighted to be greeted by Maureen after my long flight from Australia and shown to my room which was delightful and set up with beautiful tartan curtains and bedspread, so very welcoming in the -2deg weather. I loved the service, breakfast was lovely, the room spotless and the staff so helpfull and friendly. I arrived a visitor and left feeling that I had made some new friends. To those looking to stay at Ashtree House I would say book with confidence knowing you will be well looked after also from a directions point of view I would recommend that you check Google Maps which will give you directions by car, or on foot.

Lovely accommodations, but impossible to find! We circled for an hour and a half trying to locate you.
