All our rooms have been extensively modernised to an excellent standard and we have private shower rooms as well as TV, telephone, trouser press, hair dryer, ironing facilities, complimentary tea and coffee, wireless access, and a complimentary whisky or sherry. We also have a permanent terminal at the ground floor for internet connection.
We have a high standard of service and we will provide you with lots of information on historical sites in Edinburgh, and can help with organising city breaks, playing golf, attending the theatre or any other activities you would like to enjoy. We are located in Newington on the south side of the city, which is fifteen minutes walk from the Royal Mile, Edinburgh Castle, Holyrood Palace, theatres, museums, Scottish shops and many other historical attractions.

Sir, We enjoyed the stay at the Allison House, except for the weather that week it just rain. Your breakfast was outstanding, service was great. Your hotel was very quiet, room was clean. Bathroom was a little bit small for a big guy like myself and there could be more channels for the television. If we every come back to Edinburgh you house would be the first contact on my list. I would just like to state that my wife , daughter and myself really enjoyed our stay at your lovely B & B. Accommodations for the three of us in one room was most satisfactory. Breakfasts were a delight especially the kippers that I enjoyed each morning of our stay We will most definitely recommend Allison House to any of our friends who will be visiting Edinburough.
